Meagan Good Reveals Double Proposal in Engagement to Jonathan Majors
Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors announced their engagement at the Ebony Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on November 17. Good, 43, revealed they had two separate proposals, though the couple is keeping the details private.
The pair met two years ago in a unisex bathroom at the same event. Their relationship became public in May 2023, following Majors' arrest on domestic violence charges.

Majors, 35, was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December 2023, related to an incident with his ex-girlfriend. He was sentenced to domestic violence counseling, probation, and a $250 fine.

Good, previously married to DeVon Franklin (2012-2022), stood by Majors during his trial. Speaking on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna in July, she praised their relationship's mutual support and honest communication, despite friends advising her to wait before pursuing the relationship.
"I want to be responsible for the choices that I make," Good stated, explaining her decision to follow her own judgment rather than others' opinions.
