Northcroft Leisure Centre is undergoing a £4.6 million transformation funded by West Berkshire Council to create a modern, state-of-the-art facility for the community.

New Features Include:

• 80-station gym with latest fitness equipment
• Dedicated cycle studio
• New exercise studio with expanded class program
• Separate male & female gym changing facilities
• Enhanced soft play area
• New café
• Modernized reception area
• Complete facility renovation

Renovation Timeline:

• Project Start: September 2024
• Expected Completion: June 2025
• Gym Reopening: Early 2025
• Temporary gym available in sports hall during renovation

Important Changes (From January 2024):

• Temporary entrance/exit through lido area
• Soft play area closes December 31, 2024 (14:00)
• Modified sports hall access
• Revised group exercise class schedule
• New fitness changing rooms require personal padlock

The center will remain operational throughout renovation, with activities relocated within the facility to minimize disruption to services. Regular updates are available through the centre's online platforms and on-site staff.
